Book a call The price

Everything salon owners ask before they sign

33 straight answers about the price, the build, the monthly edits, photos and the rules, and what happens if you leave. The plan terms are the full agreement; these are the same answers in plain words.

The offer

What the plan is, who it is for and what it will not promise.

What does the monthly fee actually cover?

A website for your salon, built from your content and kept running: your treatment menu with prices, pages for your main treatments, team, gallery, hours and location, a Book button on every page linked to your booking tool, and a deposit and cancellation policy clients read before they book. Every month you also get hosting, an SSL certificate, security updates, up to 5 content edits and a report of the enquiries the site received.

Is there only one plan?

Yes. No tiers, no introductory price, no promotions and no add-on fees for the things listed as included. A two-chair nail bar and a four-room skin clinic pay the same and get the same plan; what changes is the structure of the pages, which follows your own treatment list.

Who is the plan for?

Beauty businesses in Australia: beauty salons and day spas, skin clinics and facialists, brow and lash studios, nail salons and laser and IPL clinics, from a home studio to a multi-room clinic. It is sold to businesses only, not to consumers.

Are you a salon, a clinic or a marketing agency?

None of those. Get Salon Website builds, hosts and looks after websites for salons. We don't provide beauty or cosmetic treatments, we don't give medical, legal or regulatory advice, and we don't run paid ads or social media accounts. What your site says about treatments comes from you.

Will the website bring me more bookings or rank on Google?

No one can honestly promise that, and we don't. The plan gives you a fast, mobile-friendly site with your menu, prices, policies and booking button, kept current each month. How many people find it and book depends on your area, your reviews, your Google Business Profile and the rest of your marketing.

Do you sell the plan to hairdressers or barbers?

The plan is the same for any salon, but the pages and examples on this site are written for beauty businesses: skin, brows, lashes, nails and laser. If you run a hair salon, book a call and we will tell you honestly whether the site suits the way your clients book.

Price, GST and the setup fee

Every cost, when it is invoiced and what it covers.

How much does the salon website plan cost?

A$249 a month plus a one-off setup fee of A$499, GST may apply. There is one plan and one price for every salon. In the first year that comes to A$3,487 before any GST, and A$2,988 a year after that if you stay on.

Are the prices shown with or without GST?

Without. The plan is sold to businesses only, and a business showing prices only to other businesses doesn't have to include GST in them. GST is added to invoices only if we are registered for GST when we invoice you, and the invoice shows it. Until that is confirmed, every price on this site says "GST may apply".

What does the setup fee pay for, and when is it charged?

The A$499 setup fee pays for building your site from your content: laying out your treatment menu, pages, photos, Book button and policies, connecting your domain and publishing it. It is invoiced when you sign up. The monthly fee is invoiced in advance each month, starting from the month your site goes live.

What if the site is never delivered?

If we can't deliver your site within a reasonable time after receiving your content, you can end the plan before it goes live and we refund the setup fee. Once the build has started, the setup fee otherwise pays for work already done, except where the law says otherwise.

Is paid advertising or social media management included?

No. Paid advertising such as Google Ads or Meta ads, the ad spend, and running your Instagram or Facebook are not part of the plan. We link your social profiles from the site.

What is in the monthly report?

A short summary of the enquiries your website received that month through its enquiry form, so you can see what the site is doing. Bookings made inside your booking tool are counted there, in its own reports, not in ours.

What counts as a content edit?

One change to something already on your site: new prices, a treatment added or removed, changed hours, a new staff member, a swapped photo or an updated policy. Up to 5 edits are included each month and unused edits don't carry over.

How long is the minimum term?

12 months from the day your site goes live. After that the plan runs month to month until you or we end it.

What happens after the first 12 months?

Nothing changes unless you ask. The plan continues at A$249 a month with the same hosting, edits and monthly report. You can end it by written notice before the next billing date. If we ever change the monthly fee, we give you at least 30 days' written notice and you can leave before it applies.

Can I cancel during the minimum term?

Yes, by written notice, but the monthly fees for the rest of the 12-month term remain payable. That doesn't apply if you end the plan because we have seriously breached the terms and haven't fixed it within 14 days of you telling us. The plan terms set this out in full.

Getting started

From the checklist to a live site.

How quickly will my website be live?

Within 14 days of us receiving everything on the content checklist: your treatment list and prices, photos you have the right to use, opening hours, address or service area, booking link and policies. If something is missing, we tell you what, and the 14 days start once it arrives.

What do I need to supply?

Your logo if you have one, the words for your treatments or the notes to lay out, your treatment menu with durations and prices, photos you own or are licensed to use, your opening hours and location, your booking link, and your deposit and cancellation policy. We send a checklist after the call so nothing is forgotten.

Do you write my treatment descriptions?

No. You supply the words, photos and prices, and we lay them out, fix formatting and make them easy to read on a phone. If your menu is only on a price list or in your booking tool, send us that and we'll build the pages from it.

Can I see the site before it goes live?

Yes. You get a private preview link and check every price, treatment time and policy line. Send your corrections as one list and we make them before launch. Corrections at this stage are part of the build and do not use your monthly edits.

Does it work with my booking system?

Yes. Most salons already use a booking tool such as Timely, Fresha, Phorest or Kitomba. We add your booking link to the Book button on every page and, where your tool provides an embed, can place its booking widget on a page. The booking tool subscription stays with you and is not part of the plan.

Can you move my existing website?

We build a new site from your content rather than copying the old one's code. If your current site has pages people find on Google, tell us on the call so we can keep the same addresses where possible. We help point your existing domain to the new site.

Edits and upkeep

How the site stays current once it is live.

How do I ask for an edit?

In writing, with what should change and anything it needs: the new price list, the policy wording, the new therapist's photo and introduction. You don't log in to anything or learn a website builder.

What if I need more than 5 edits, or something bigger?

New sections, extra features or a redesign are outside the plan. We tell you the price before doing any of that work, and nothing is charged without your agreement. Ordinary changes beyond the monthly allowance can wait for the next month or be quoted the same way.

Do I need to log in to anything?

Not for the website. We make the changes for you. Your booking tool, your Google Business Profile and your domain registrar keep their own logins, which stay with you.

Hosting, domains and email

Where the site lives and what stays in your name.

Where is the site hosted, and is hosting charged separately?

We host it for you, served over HTTPS with an SSL certificate and kept up to date with security updates. There is no separate hosting bill and no certificate to renew. We aim to keep your site online at all times, but no hosting provider is outage-free, so we don't promise uninterrupted service.

Who owns the domain and the content?

You do. Your domain is registered in your business's name and you pay the registrar. The words, photos, logo and prices you supply stay yours. We host the site and keep the rights in our own templates and code while the plan runs.

Will moving the website affect my email?

It doesn't have to. Your website and your email can use the same domain without depending on each other. Before we change any domain settings, we check with you how your email is set up.

Photos, reviews and the rules

Consent, testimonials and clinic advertising rules.

Can I show before-and-after photos on my website?

Only photos you have the right to use and written consent from the client in the photo. Photos of people are personal information under the Privacy Act. If you offer cosmetic procedures or work with registered health practitioners, stricter advertising rules can apply to images, so check the rules for your business before sending them. We don't add before-and-after galleries unless you confirm both.

Can you add client reviews or testimonials?

Only real ones you supply and confirm you may use, shown as they were written. We never write or invent reviews. If you offer regulated health services, the advertising rules restrict testimonials, so check what applies to your business before sending any.

We are a laser or cosmetic clinic. Can you make our website compliant?

We can't give legal or regulatory advice, and your website has to meet the rules that apply to your business. Depending on your services and staff, that may include Ahpra's advertising rules, the TGA's rules on prescription-only medicines and your state's laser licensing. We publish what you supply, will show licence or practitioner details you ask us to include, and won't add testimonials or claims you haven't provided.

Does the enquiry form collect health information?

No. The site's enquiry form asks for a name, contact details and the question. If a treatment needs a health or consultation questionnaire, that belongs in your booking tool or your consultation, where it can be protected properly.

The term and leaving

The minimum term, cancelling and what you take with you.

What happens to my website if I leave?

When the plan ends we stop hosting the site, give you a copy of the content you supplied if you ask, and help you point your domain wherever you choose. The design templates and code stay with us.

Anything still unanswered? Bring it to the call.

The pricing page sets out every cost, what's included goes through each feature, and the plan terms are the full agreement. Anything else, ask on a call.
